Lost in Translation (Week 4)

Mar 8, 2026    Brad Brenner

This message teaches that our culture has distorted the true, biblical meaning of friendship, leaving many people busy yet deeply lonely. Drawing from Ecclesiastes 4 and other Scriptures, it shows that real friends work together for good, lift each other up when they fall, walk with one another through the “cold night of the soul,” and courageously speak truth even when it’s hard. The sermon calls us not just to want these kinds of friends, but to become them—intentionally pursuing honest, Christ-centered relationships that require time, proximity, forgiveness, and a commitment to fight for one another.
