We see that all of us fall short of God’s righteous standard and that true justice would mean our condemnation—yet in love, God sent Jesus to be both just and the justifier of those who trust in Him. Because we’ve been declared righteous by grace through faith, we’re now called to live differently in the world: refusing to join in injustice, treating every person with dignity, and stepping into broken situations as humble, truth-telling agents of God’s justice and mercy.
