Good Friday Tenebrae Service (Audio Only)

Tenebrae means shadow; the service will focus on the darkness of the crucifixion and death of Jesus using scripture readings, visual images, videos, and audience participation. The abandonment and agony of that day is remembered in the subdued service, ending on the somber side in order to help those who attend contemplate what it felt like when Jesus died. The service ends in darkness and is left unfinished, because the story isn’t over until Easter.
